In regards to justification of text. I have a paragraph of text, designated on its' own layer, which I would like to "Justify last left". However, in my character palette this option is gray and unaccessible, leaving me only with the first three options of left, center, or right justify. What are the steps in accomplishing my desired option? How would I define the borders for this text to justify within this layer?
Type must be set in Paragraph type (not Point type) in order to make these options available. To set Paragraph type...
Select the Type tool
Click and drag to create a bounding box that will define the borders of the paragraph.
Start typing. The text will wrap automatically.
When you are done press the Return (Mac) or Enter (PC).
Now the justify last left option should be available. Check out my previous Post "With Justification For All" to learn more about point and paragraph type.
Note: Point type should not be confused with "point size", a term graphic designers use to specify type size.
